In 1874 a family of notables from Santa Margherita Ligure, who had made their fortune in the Antilles, decided to settle in a point of the town that dominated the Portofino Gulf and the sea, building a patrician villa. This is how Villa Gelsomino was born, which welcomes you with the opulent elegance of its frescoed ceilings and original floors in Genoese grit and perfectly preserved. Nestled in 700 square meters of Italian gardens, where palm trees, planted 150 years ago, and citrus are mixed with plants and scents of the Mediterranean.
